MS EQ COMP for Macintosh Installation & Activation Guide

Before Starting Installation

• You need product number listed in the e-mail you have received at the point of the purchase.
• You must log into your computer with administrator privileges in advance.
• You must complete the product activation process by accessing the activation server via the Internet.
  This product cannot be used without activation, so please complete the activation process as soon as installation is finished.
• You must close all programs running on your computer including some resident programs as anti-virus software.

Installation

1. Double click "MSEQCompInstaller.pkg" in the downloaded disk image (*.dmg).



2. First [Welcome to MS EQ COMP Installer] shows. Click [Continue].



3. The installer will allow you to read the license agreement. If you agree with it, check "Agree" and click [Continue].


* If you do not accept the terms of the license agreement you cannot proceed to the next stage of the installation.

4. Please enter "User Name", "Company Name", and "Product No." and Click [Continue].
* Product number is listed in the e-mail you have received at the point of the purchase. You need enter unhyphenated and no letterspaced.



5. The installer asks you which hard disk drives to install MS EQ COMP to. Please specify the destination and click [Continue].



6. The installer will begin by asking you where you want to install MS EQ COMP. Click [Install].

* The default setting should be fine in most cases, but you can specify here any other location by clicking [Change Install Location].



7. The installer will complete the installation.

Activation

After the installation, you must activate MS EQ COMP to make a server authenticate the user of this product. We recommend activating right after the installation. Without activation you cannot use MS EQ COMP.

When you activate MS EQ COMP at a later time, double click [Macintosh HD] [Applications] [InActivateCenter].

The computer you installed MS EQ COMP to must be wired for the Internet.

1. After installation, InActivateCenter will open.
You can see "MS EQ COMP" listed in an area which you can click and select the application.



2. Click and select "MS EQ COMP", and click [REGISTER].
* You can't complete activating before registration.



3. The web page for registering MS EQ COMP shows. Please complete the registration here.


* The user information you input here will be used again in following Step 4.

4. Click and select "MS EQ COMP", and click [ACTIVATE].



5. You need select the device as the activation device. When you click [Select device], the devices you can select will be listed.



6. Check [Online] and click [Activate].



7. Activation is completed.

Deactivation

When you reinstall MS EQ COMP to replace your computer, reinstall your OS or etc, installed MS EQ COMP must be deactivated.

1. Start InActivateCenter. Click [Macintosh HD] [Applications] [InActivateCenter].



2. Click and select "MS EQ COMP", and click [DEACTIVATE].

Update Program

1. Click and select "MS EQ COMP", and click [UPDATE].
* InActivateCenter will notify program update available.

Uninstallation

Delete those files.
